Republican Congressman Angry He Has To Clean Up Democrats' "Pile Of Crap"
The blame game is continuing onward in Washington, with a Republican congressman calling the current state of affairs a "pile of crap" due to the Democrats not passing a budget while they had power.

Via The Hill:

Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho), a member of the Appropriations Committee, lashed out at Democrats during a debate over a three-week government funding measure intended to avert a government shutdown. Simpson responded to Democrats, who accused Republicans of carrying out a piecemeal spending plan.

"I will tell you the outrage here is that we are having to do this because the majority — the former majority — when they had the majority in the House and the majority in the Senate and the White House failed to pass an appropriations bill," he said during a speech on the House floor.

"They left the American people in this country with this pile of crap," he continued. "They should not complain about how we tried to clean this up."

Apparently Simpson has forgotten about his party's tendency to block and filibuster every bill that came up in the Senate during the last two years, helping to add to their own share of the alleged "crap" pile.

3. He's not being held prisoner. If it's such a shitty job
he can find other employment, I'm sure there's a lobbying corporation that would be happy to buy his influence among other politicians in DC
