I just learned of a worldwide movement going on to fight against evil banking abuses! Want to join?
Edited on Sat Mar-19-11 12:07 PM by Cal33
In our country "usuncut.org" started recently in Calif. They are organizing protests against
crooked banking practices, and in a few weeks it has already spread to 50 cities across our
nation. It is spreading like wild fire.

This protest by the people is worldwide. It started in the UK some 6 months ago. Today, Mexico,
Canada, France, the Netherlands ... are also involved. We, in the USA, started some two weeks ago.
Apparently bankers (at least the crooked ones) are doing the same thing in other countries, too.

I am grateful to "rucky" who wrote Reply #7 to my thread "It's amazing that half of our people don't
see this evil. Are so many of us that brain-washed?" Rucky wrote, "Sign up with this group: US Uncut,
they're organizing bankster protests all over the country."

http://www.usuncut.org/

I thought this info is too important to let it languish as one reply in a thread only. I'd like to
share it with as many people as possible, and hope that you, too, will pass it along to all you
can contact.

FINALLY HERE'S SOMETHING THAT COULD BE THE SUCCESSFUL BEGINNING OF A SORELY NEEDED WORLD-WIDE MOVEMENT
TO CURB THE THIEVING BANKS THAT ARE RUINING THE ENTIRE WORLD! IT DEPENDS ON ALL OF US!

IT'S A TOUGH BATTLE AHEAD. BUT WE'VE GOT THE NUMBERS, IF WE CHOOSE TO. GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!

4. the banks have power to punish us

...even to ruin a life!

If you take a stand against a bank (as I did a few months ago by refusing to pay punitive and now illegal penalties on my debit card at BofA) they can turn you over to something called chexsystems that will prevent you from opening a bank account for up to seven years.

What do you do then, if you need an account for business purposes? (As I do.) I am screwed, even if I give up my fight against BofA and pay off the $200 in penalties they hit me with for being 11 cents overdrawn on a debit card purchase.

The punishment of being blackballed by the chexsystem is disproportionate.

5. Does that apply to credit union accounts, too?
(I'm guessing "yes." Bastards.)

9. You are correct. The clients, themselves, also become part-owners of
the credit union they join. (At least, this is what I understand).

11. Okay, I thought there was an external rule saying you couldn't open up an account at a CU
I wasn't trying to put down CUs; I like them a lot better than banks!

15. and get this...
Edited on Sat Mar-19-11 12:53 PM by grasswire
I currently have a family business account at Chase bank. I tried to open an account there for my new business. They refused me, because of the Bank of America chexsystems report mentioned above. Repeat: I have a business account at Chase in good standing, but they won't open a new business account because of what BofA did to me.

Does that make any sense at all?

So I anticipate ten thousand bucks coming to my new business in the next few months and have no way to do banking for it.

7. Have you never heard of "credit unions?" I also learned of it
only a year ago, and they've been around for a long time. Look up "credit union"
in Google. They function like a bank, are owned by the people themselves, and
are all over the country.

Your fears are over. The crooked banks are the ones who ought to start shaking
in their boots now. :o

12. credit unions also use the chexsystems
to screen when opening new accounts.

If the banksters put the hit on you, you're screwn.

17. The pleasure's all mine. Yes, there are many fired-up members
in this group. I imagined there are very few world-wide movements.
And this is one of them. It's also for the benefit of the people
of the entire world. The conflagration will grow when more learn
about it.

10. K and fucking R!
My war with banks started 2 years ago. Look at it this way. There are MILLIONS of Americans that have bad credit now that was caused by the banks. Banks will no longer loan so fuck em.

I hope this movement takes off to the point that B of A and others just crumble.

18. LET'S NOT FORGET STATE BANKS, as well....
One of the Dakota's is doing just fine in this economy because the state owns its own bank. Washington state is looking into doing the same. Others too, I'm sure.

Maybe someone can elaborate on this.

But certainly, no good Democrat can still belong to a commercial bank at this point in history. Get with a credit union. Anyone can join.

25. Many thanks for the infomation and the links. When more Americans
switch over to state banks, the private big banks will become
smaller and, hopefully, also less haughty.
