I sure hope we can kill Gaddafi within the next couple of days...
Would not want him and his kids getting on Tee Vee every day with more propaganda.

This is one very evil man, has been for so long, we need him gone ASAP.

I'm not find of Mugabe. He's been there a long time, too. Don't you want him gone? If not, why not?

4. I loathe and detest Mugabe.
But there has been no request for a no-fly zone.

In fact, the only way either Mugabe or any resistors can fight is hand-to-hand.

5. Who should do the asking?
What a load of bullshit. We haven't involved ourselves in Zimbabwe because they don't have oil. Obviously.

9. Exactly
It's amazing how people cannot see this. Anytime large oil reserves are at stake, the bombs start falling and the cruise missiles start flying.

There's a lot of strife in the world and civil are are happening all the time, but it's amazing how we manage to involve ourselves in places where there is a lot of oil.

Well, actually it's not that amazing if you manage to open your eyes.

19. You cannot bomb non-existent anti-aircraft sites.
The only way to get involved is by boots on the ground.

Obama does not want boots on the ground again.
It is not as though he has not tried.

Edited on Sun Mar-20-11 12:04 AM by Lyric
Any others who are using military aircraft and explosives to kill civilians for the awful "crime" of wanting his ass gone?

If there are--that would definitely be the one to go after next. With the UN's approval, of course.

The only silver lining is that these constant wars will completely bankrupt us, rendering us impotent in these affairs in the future. Empires always die because of stuff like this.

27. No
That would be far too easy on him. I would hope that he is captured - alive. I would hope he would be imprisoned and forced to face justice.

Killing him outright will make him a martyr...and he should face the people he oppressed, stand witness to their condemnation and accept the consequences.

All protesters by himself? No? He HAS people on his side. He HAS people who are loyal to him. For the most part - the military are STILL loyal to him.

So - yes - there certainly are people who would see him as a martyr should he be tarteted and killed.
