It's time for us to start up a new game: predict America's next great nutjob idea!!!

First, the rules. I'm open to suggestions here.

We gotta award points to those whose predictions come true! :D The amount of points should be proportional to the rank of the Conservative or Blue Dog. For instance when an insane idea comes from a Republican city council member that's 100 points, but when it comes from a Republican US Senator or Republican US Senator posing as a Democrat, that warrants something like being multiplied by several powers of 2, like maybe 3200 points.) How high up the rank is a US Senator from a city councilman?)

Also: should Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck be excluded or not? I ask this because they're always spouting off the absolute craziest of crap. If not, we need a point scoring system for them, too. Maybe 10 points per political commentator whose nutjob comments meet a DU contestant's prediction.

Then there's the 1 point scored for every prediction that is hilarious or downright scary, and more points for arbitrary assigned value of likelihood. That kinda thing.

As I said, I'm open to ideas here!


Ok now, lemme start by throwing these potential right wing nutjob ideas into contention.

Parents who take their kids to liberal or pro-union/etc. protests are engaging in child abuse.
Any parent on welfare is an unfit parent whose kid should be taken away.
Send the jobless off to war.
Miscarriage = death penalty (hah, psyche, already suggested!)
Bring back the landed gentry.

2.) New York Republican says Bus welfare Blacks to California to pick crops... deport Mexican Immigrants..

Congressional candidate Jack Davis shocked local Republican leaders in a recent interview when he suggested that Latino farmworkers be deported — and that African-Americans from the inner city be bused to farm country to pick the crops.
