Classmate rooting against Wisconsin basketball
He's not a K State fan but is actively rooting against Wisconsin basketball. The status includes a message about "showing lazy Union workers the door".

Come on-why does college basketball need political commentary?

4. That's what I thought.
I enjoy watching games for the love of the game, not for the politics.

3. How stupid.
It's been a great game so far. I doubt any of the players are even thinking about unions.

11. But that's a different reason.
It's not about how (another post) supposedly the Unions are paying for the program.

(I'm not making this up.)

13. My Big Ten loyalty ends with my team.
I pull for teams I like and against certain coaches and teams.

In the Wisc-KSU game, I like KSU because I was there for 15 years.

15. I'm originally from WI
so I always root for them.

I live too close to the KS/MO border and am so sick of the Border Wars so I refuse to root for Mizzou, KU or K State.

9. And the kids playing basketball for UW are lazy union workers?
Geez. I give those kids special props for going to school and playing ball while all hell has been breaking loose blocks away.

One thing I am really aware of is just how much hate is out there.

31. My grandfather attended
but left when the war began. He never went back.

I wanted to go but by then we lived out of state and the tuition was far too high to even consider it.
