OH Gov Kasich got into office by a slight margin. Here is the effects of Citizens United decision:
Check out these up-to-date statistics on campaign spending in the 2010 election and the effects of Citizens United from Akron University Professor Dr. David B. Cohen. The January 2010 U.S. Supreme Court decision finding a first amendment right of corporations to make independent expenditures in partisan and candidate campaigns has had its effects in ballooning campaign spending.

1. Close doesn't matter in handgrenades or nuclear tactics
and the GOP has decided to go nuclear on the state level.

2. There were many articles in Newspapers pointing out how
the Chamber of Commerce used millions to defeat Democrats
and put Republicans in office. Their stated goal was
to put people in office who would get rid of Wall Street
Regulations and HCR.

It was not covered as much on TV., but the CoC was taking
full advantage of the new law giving Corporations to make
independent expencitures.

This is why it is so very important for Activists from all
Groups and Issues join and work with Unions to push back
against Big Business Power.
