the Chamber of Commerce used millions to defeat Democrats and put Republicans in office. Their stated goal was to put people in office who would get rid of Wall Street Regulations and HCR.
It was not covered as much on TV., but the CoC was taking full advantage of the new law giving Corporations to make independent expencitures.
This is why it is so very important for Activists from all Groups and Issues join and work with Unions to push back against Big Business Power.
