3. What's interesting is that the Arab League is supposed to be leading the efforts
Edited on Sun Mar-20-11 09:48 AM by KoKo
--at least that's what our SOS said. It was supposed to look like this was another "coalition of the willing," but led by Arabs so the US wouldn't be criticized for interfering in another Arab country's affairs. Now they are criticizing? Politically this looks like them stabbing us in the back. Was that the intention all along?

2. Pah these guys are clueless.
What did they think would need to be done? They called the missiles in and didn't realize people would get killed? All who support these attacks should have known people would die over this.

How many more do we have to kill to equal Qadaffi?

4. CYA for Arab League. They drew us into this conflict quite purposefully.
It's pretty hard to enforce a no-fly zone if the other side is launching missiles at your aircraft.

We'll get blamed for these civilian deaths and I doubt we are going to win many hearts and minds in Libya. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. This smells like a trap or a set-up to me.

6. The resolution passed. Now, they'll do whatever they please.
Never mind legal niceties, the UN Charter, or the dissenting votes and Nations.
