KKKristol calls for U.S. ground forces in Libya
By David Edwards
Sunday, March 20th, 2011 -- 11:52 am

The operation to create a no-fly zone in Libya has just begun, but already conservative Fox News pundit Bill Kristol is wishing the U.S. would send in ground troops "sooner rather than later."

U.S. President Barack Obama said Saturday the "Odyssey Dawn" operation launched under a UN Security Council resolution was a "limited military action," unlike the regime change aims of the war against Iraqi president Saddam Hussein.

He pledged no U.S. troops would be deployed on the ground.

Fox News Chris Wallace asked Kristol Sunday if it was a mistake to limit the mission in Libya.

6. The comments on the above story so far pretty well sum it up:
-Can someone pass the esteemed Mr. Kristol a steaming cup of shut the fuck up please?

-I don't care what anyone who gets an erection looking at Sarah Palin has to say.

-Bill Kristol calls for U.S. ground forces in Libya? Great idea! Let's start by sending Bill Kristol.

-Man, has this guy EVER gotten anything right?

They just weren't committed enough.

asasins and get it over with If Krystol's aim is to
get rid of Gadahfi;Ground Troops means all out war.

21. So the Libyan revolution has been hijacked by the neocons.
I'm going to venture a prediction now: They WON'T take out Gaddafi. They won't bomb his compound. Once he's out of the picture their role ends, or it WOULD end if they were really supporting the revolution. They are going to try to keep him alive to maintain the civil war meme, and have two centers of power (Tripoli and Benghazi) which they have to "mediate" between in order to make themselves essential. But they never intended to simply play a supporting role in a people's revolution. Neocons don't operate that way.

23. Why is this PNAC neocon chickenhawk's opinion worth a hill of beans?
Oh wait, Krist-hyperbole was on Faux Snooze.

He and that poisonously evil projeny of Dick Cheney, Lynn, have formed "Keep America Safe" which states on the bottom of the website's front page, that it is a non-profit, non-partisan organization described in Section 501(c)(4) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Donations to Keep America Safe are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for US federal income tax purposes.
There are no donation limits or restrictions for contributions to Keep America Safe.

It also states the following:

"Since taking office, Barack Obama and officials in his administration have repeatedly rebuked, condemned, and pressured an Israeli government that is standing strong and defiant in the face of continual threats from terrorist groups and the regimes that sponsor them. The administration has repeatedly sought to engage Israel’s authoritarian enemies while demanding ever more concessions from the democratically elected government in Jerusalem. In just the last month this administration has twice stood by as international organizations have targeted Israel for condemnation. In May the Obama administration consented to a Final Document from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference that singled out Israel as a threat to the current non-proliferation regime while making no mention of the grave threat posed by Iran’s illegal pursuit of nuclear weapons. And in June the administration refused to block a presidential statement from the United Nations Security Council as Israel was besieged by an international lynch mob for exercising its legitimate right of self-defense."

"The relationship between the American and Israeli people is as strong as it has ever been, but this administration’s dangerous and misguided policies, if left unchallenged, pose a serious threat to Israel’s security and prosperity and to America’s ability to protect our interests in the region. We the undersigned urge the President to stand with the people of Israel.”

Lying hypocrites..."non-partisan", my ass!!
