The OP must be willfully unaware that there have been DOZENS and DOZENS OF THREADS on this very issue here at DU. One can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a Libya thread.

In addition, the OP studiously avoids any mention of the reasons for the conflict, the players involved etc.

In short, this post lacks any real attempt at discussion or debate.
