7. What do we even need those nets ? Why can't stores just offer brown paper bags to put your
produce in??? That's what really makes me disgusted. A beautiful creature has to fight for their life with something that humans have no need for!

8. Now here is one situation where a very carefully aimed handheld burning laser
would be useful... you could cut some of this stuff from hundreds of feet away, potentially without even rousing the mom or calf.

that was badly wrapped up in fishing line and other things that had accumulated in the line.

The bird did not move at all and watched me carefully. It was heartbreaking more that this wild bird knew that the binds were beyond his own ability to escape and that he had resigned himself to my assistance.

The image in the OP is very sad. We need to change our ways.
