He makes some excellent points against the invasion, and has me convinced that it is precisely the countries USA, England, France and Spain who need to stay the hell away from the region.

Moreover, I now find it not unlikely that the invasion is being done precisely because in Libya it is not a genuine democratic movement, and rather a civil war, and the goal is to back some form of regime that is friendly to the interests of the former Colonial powers, which Ghaddafi is not.

1. Some of us know this already
I just watched the UN Secretary General in a live press conference in Egypt - he couldn't answer questions on why the UN hasn't had the same approach re that slaughter of Palestinians at the end of 2008.

Fuck all the Western hypocrites - they are the reason the Middle East and North Africa are in this mess - it is they who 'divide and rule' as they steal resources. They have never given a flying fuck about human lives.

2. amen
after all these years and all these wars and all these "actions" - the "peace, freedom and humanitarian" motives they offer just do not ring true.

4. I agree, I would like to see his updated opinion.
Particularly how he feels to know that he was off by a week about intervention and how he admitted if they asked for it we should help.
