War is a Mindset.
Wikipedia defines a mindset as follows:

"A mindset is a set of assumptions, methods or notations held by one or more people or groups of people which is so established that it creates a powerful incentive within these people or groups to continue to adopt or accept prior behaviors, choices, or tools".

If, rather than being a mindset, war became a physical reality to the people and families of the people perpetuating it, then war would not be an option except in circumstances that are grave and dire to our own citizens.

The United States ought not use the excuse of "humanitarian effort" to justify war, unless this effort is used to aid ALL oppressed people in the world. Otherwise, this means that our leaders who choose war are cherry picking who is helped, essentially implying that all human beings are not equal.

2. Maybe the US has a warlike mindset because

most citizens of the US have not experienced the pain of war first hand, only the benefits of being the "winning" side? Not that anyone really benefits from war in the end.

Edit for continued thought. Sorry!

7. Ridiculous Meme
War is not a mindset as many people have different feelings about different wars. Some people seem to support them all. Some people support some. Some people support none.

8. I'm not talking about SOME people
I'm talking about THE people who send young people other than their own to kill other people.
