Poll question: Would you vote for Dennis Kucinich in his 2012 congressional primary?
NOTE: For sake of argument, assume that you have the right to do so, even if you do not actually reside in his district.

1. Damn! I misread that as Presidential primary.
So, I voted no. I would vote for him in his congressional primary. I shall read more carefully in the future.

5. Against who is he competing...
in the primary? Until I know my choices, I could not decide. Also, living in California, I would not be able to vote for him, anyway.

But, without knowing who he is running against, so I am able to determine who would be the best Congressman, I could not decide.

So, I did not answer your question.

8. No. When I first saw him in 2003 I was very impressed
Little by little I started to realize how ineffective he is. He can barely hold his own on news discussion shows--he gets talked over and shouted down. I'm shocked that so many people think he'd make a great president. He hasn't accomplished anything in his decades in congress. He has a history of race baiting and he was anti-choice. He also said Ron Paul was his first choice for running mate. Right wing Ron Paul!!! Yet DK is supposed to be our liberal savior?

9. I've always been ambiguous on him.
He was anti-abortion rights before he changed his view. I thought the change was rather opportunist, actually, although I am pro-choice 100%. I think he is a lot better than the large majority of congressional Democrats, however. His "style" isn't that appealing to me, but he has a good basic orientation.

10. Where's the option for thinking his district might disappear?
I don't live in his district, so I don't know who would be running in the primary against him. That said, Kucinich would never have my support in an election against other more capable Democrats.

12. Fuck no, not after his little "Impeach Obama" garbage. I'll donate to any Dem running against him.
And I called his office and told him so.

13. he was just on MSNBC and backed off from that
I will call it "Pulling a Beck", saying essentially:

I'm just raising the question (about Impeachment)

Then he questions the constitutionality of the War Powers Act.

He almost has a reasonable point here. If he can the the war powers act declared unconstitutional then this action would be illegal. Until then.......

14. His office refused to answer when I asked if he said it. Which means he did say it.
And he can't back off from it now. Good lord, is he a nutcase or what?

15. That's the thing, I said I'd vote for him, but I'd have to see who was running against him

and what the situation was. I wouldn't if I thought his opponent wouldn't do well in the general or wouldn't be good in Congress.

and a GOP Congress?

Oh, he said something about your guy? I see. Then he must be flayed alive, obviously.
