Our Domestic Enemies are at war with us. Their goal is to destroy us. |
|
Any Democrat who still believes he/she has a say in American politics is delusional. Our very existence is meaningless in Washington D.C. and many states. The “tea baggers” who took control in last year’s elections have run amok. And here’s their agenda.
Wipe out Social Security and Medicare.
Wipe out freedom of/from religion.
Wipe out unions.
Wipe out Planned Parenthood.
Wipe out NPR.
Wipe Democrats from voting lists.
Wipe out public education.
Wipe out all government regulations and oversight.
Wipe out rational thought.
Wipe out any signs of intelligent life on this planet.
The people in Wisconsin “get it” and are fighting back. So are people in a few other states. It’s a start, but it’s not enough.
What each and every one of us must understand is that our political enemies have declared a non-shooting war on us, but it’s a war that can destroy all of our freedoms.
President Obama, and most of our party, is Awol in this war. So what do we do? Our options are limited, but we can threaten to withhold our votes. This will of course screw us all, but it might be sufficient to scare the hell out of our Dem “leaders.”
But I’d really like to hear your suggestions on how we can go on the attack in this “war.”

1. Hey - that's exactly the same language they use about us |
|
We are at war with our political enemies. And the way you win a war is to defeat them, not to work with them. We must crush the hated enemies of decency before they destroy us.

2. Sorry you don't like the language. |
|
So what would you suggest be done regarding relentless political enemies who are trying to destroy our ideas, our world view, our values, and perhaps, our very existence in their midst?

10. I don't like it, either, but we aren't the ones who declared war |
|
They are the ones who bussed their useful idiots into town hall meetings to disrupt discussions of health care reform with Brown Shirt light tactics.
They are the ones who destroyed the Gulf of Mexico and the Alaska Sound and take no responsibility.
They are the ones who push the global-warming-is-a-hoax hoax.
They are the ones who own the media that is more likely to discuss the latest Hollywood scandal than the scandal of the disappearing middle class.(Don't worry about what the public will think. I'm something of an expert on what the public will think. -- from Citizen Kane)
They are the one who own the media that bring us Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, FoxNews and another right wing moron named Dennis Prager who tells us some steer manure about equality not being an American value.
They are the ones who expect us to pay their taxes for them and bail out their too-big-to-fail businesses after a very risky investment product didn't produce.
They are the ones who keep selling that same very risky product after they're bailed out.
They are the ones who ship our jobs to India and China and want tear our social safety net to shreds and destroy our labor unions.
They are the ones who bribe our representatives to represent them and forget about us. (NOTE; a large campaign contribution is a bribe; only an elaborate act of positive law can make a distinction between them.)
They are the ones who sit on their fat asses all day counting the money they pretend to make selling the wealth they claim that they produce as if they whip it up out of thin air. (NOTE: This country has its best years when the producers of wealth had an easier time joining labor unions.)
They are Koch Industries, FreedomWorks, BP, ExxonMobil, Monsanto, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America . . . .

11. You've pretty well nailed it, Jack Rabbit. |
|
What you've stated is what I keep forgetting -- the world is made up of "fuckors" and "fuckees."
It's a concept I've always hated. But the reality is that the vast majority of us are "fuckees," (those who get screwed on a regular, never-ending basis).

6. The GOP has ALWAYS been that way, it's just time more people realized it. |

Edited on Mon Mar-21-11 11:47 AM by Kurmudgeon
Call them "Tea Baggers" if you wish, but they're just another branch off the same old right wing neo-con tree. As for stirring people up, good luck. I've seen the right wing crash the economy over and over and yet people go back to the GOP like a dog returns to his vomit. I only hope the younger generation sees the difference. And if some meathead pops in here trying to compare Libya to Iraq, someone please serve them a big can of STFU.
