Its a pretty civil debate, but Thom is doing a really good job of disproving his points.

1. Thom has a lot more info at his disposal than he uses sometimes.
He'll nail someone, then when they respond with some foolishness, he lets them off the hook. I keep waiting for him to wipe the floor with some of these idiots.

2. For Those Of Us Who Aren't...........
...........can we get a summary/recap? Because if ONE right-winger is spewing talking points on any given subject, you can rest assured that all the rest of us will encounter one spewing the exact same talking points. And it's always nice to have the counterarguments already in your head.

3. By The Way, Has Anyone Else Noticed................
.............whenever I listen to Sirius Left, I've noticed that almost every show gets a healthy amount of right-wingers calling in to argue with the hosts. It's gotten to the point where I can almost pick them out within 5 seconds of their beginning to speak (they usually start off ultra-polite and complimentary of the show--overcompensation is an immediate tip-off). However, the few times I've allowed myself to go over and listen to right-wing hate radio, I've never heard a SINGLE liberal caller make it onto the air (and on the rare occasions that they do make it on, they're almost immediately cut off and/or hung up on).

5. Yeah Rush is notorious for that.
He will either hang up or talk over you. On the rare opportunity that someone does get a chance to beat him in a debate, according to my dad anyway, Rush simply claims that those callers are hired by the DNC. It wouldn't surprise me if he does do that, though I never listen to him much.

4. Here's a summary.
Sorry I should have provided one in the OP. They were talking about Unions and the caller made the claim that Unions were unnecessary because there were so many other firms that someone could work for and that if a person wasn't getting paid what they were worth then another firm would hire them away. As Thom pointed out this argument only works if there are plenty of firms hiring and they are not right now, and instead because of our free trade policies they will just send our jobs to China where they can pay them pennies a day and we are left out of jobs.

6. We debate civilly...
...while they hit over the head with a 2x4 (the RW putsch by newly elected Con Govs and legislatures)

Sounds like a fair fight...
