WI justice admits he called female colleague a ‘bitch,’ threatened to ‘destroy’ her

The anger of one conservative Wisconsin Supreme Court justice boiled over last year when he called a fellow justice a "bitch" and threatened to "destroy" her, according to a published report.

Justice David Prosser reportedly made the comments to Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson following a February 2010 debate over whether another justice should have been forced off criminal cases.

"In the context of this, I said, 'You are a total bitch,'" Prosser admitted to the Mulwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel last week.

The conservative justice told the paper that he had made the comments because Abrahamson had tried to undermine and embarrass him.

2. If I called a female colleague anything remotely close to that, I would get fired
Why are these assholes allowed to keep right on doing what they have been doing with no changes and not repercussions?

4. Ugh. He refused to prosecute a priest for sexually abusing two children & claims
teenage girls falsely claim they are raped in order to get an abortion (like this is something a female would really, really want).

And he's running against JoAnne Kloppenburg.

7. This is her opponent? OMG.
Is there any chance a Wisconsin voter would vote for him? Again?

10. I would say there's a very good chance that Prosser wins, though not as good as before
David Prosser has tied himself to Scott Walker which played well a few months ago (http://www.prosserequalswalker.com/). Now that Walker's poll numbers are dropping, Prosser may not be the shoe-in he would have been. Supreme Court justice isn't the glamor race that many elections are, but maybe with the anger in the state, Joanne Kloppenburg will have a better chance.

Here's a good article about the Wisconsin Supreme Court race:

6. Not precisely a judicious type of mind, would you say?
Perhaps he would be more suited to wrestling promotion?

8. Hey, Justice Prosser, no one gives a rat's hinder about the "context"
You'd be facing a severe reprimand if you worked for me.

Oh wait, don't you work for me? Yeah, until April 5th. Maybe in your free time you can get into some anger management classes.

12. Judge needs to be reviewed by the WI Ethics Committee and accept
appropriate sanctions.

If either one was an attorney and the other a judge with the former using the same language here, the attorney would be subject to contempt. Just because you attack a peer doesn't lessen the situation.
