**For info re: Libya, Wes Clark, CNN:
Wes was on "The Situation Room" on CNN at about 5:30 p.m. EDT with Wolf Blitzer. Blitzer mentioned that the other countries in the area were "missing in action," in that while they approved the UN resolution taking action against Gadhafi, they have yet to provide military support. Blitzer asked Wes if he was disappointed at their inaction. Wes replied that he was very disappointed, but not surprised. He said that the leaders there were in a tight spot and cant be seen by their citizens as attacking other Arabs. He added that Gadhafi has "a long reach" and could retaliate against any regime that supports the opposition.

He's supposed to be on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" show later this evening.

1. Make him SOS
Secretary of State for Obama's second term since Hilary Clinton wants to move on.
He has an incredible ability to communicate on most things but especially foreign policy matters.
Better yet - he should be president.

4. Wes Clark was against US military involvement in Libya.
He wrote that OPED last week in the Washington Post. In his comments today on CNN he sounded a bit more reconciled to what is happening as long as the UN takes the lead with Arab League offering strong support.

He seems to think Libya may split in two with a long stalemate continuing to persist, and lots of continuing problems.
