Lunch is served Monday at an evacuation center where hundreds of homeless are staying in Rikuzentakata, Japan.

2. The Japanese are strong people...

They will make it. But this is a huge challenge for them. It is very admirable the way they are holding up under the stress.

4. Two things I notice..

first, they are being served, instead of lining up like a cattle call.

second, almost no one is sitting in the chairs, they prefer the floor. I'm considered strange because I prefer the floor too.

5. i've been monitoring animal rescue activities, and

i'm REALLY impressed by how organized they are! Really amazing people, all volunteers, doing that work.

no one there is carrying openly. why is that? Don't they want their share of the pie?:sarcasm:

Seriously, imagine a major disaster happening here in the states that actually affected white folks.

There'd be so many guns no one would be cooking.
