They just look for articles and photos being used on the internet, buy the copyrights for said articles & photos. Then they bully the websites that might have used these items for damages.
Seriously, this is what they do? Are you kidding me? That's like the laziest internet scam I've ever seen. They rank right up there with Nigerians royals who have millions they want you to have and those weight loss pills where you get a free sample provided you hand over your credit card information. Personally I think I would trust the Nigerians and Weight Loss pills more than Righthaven.
These people should be embarassed at the job they do.

Hell, it's an easy scam I feel like I should start doing it. How expensive could it be to claim a copyright on a written article?
