3. I think some of the serious ones - the ones who weren't just in it to
hate the black guy in the WH - the more Libertarian-leaning folks, have gotten an inkling when the money stopped pouring in from the Koch brothers and their ilk. I heard some little peeps about the baggers organizing and protesting, but without the big bucks, there was scant coverage.

7. There are exactly twenty-seven of them.
I counted. There used to be 28, but their demographic skews old, and, you know...

The rest will march in whatever direction they're pointed.

5. Will take forever to happen..
From what I have seen over the past few years, this country has a lot of ignorant, dumb ass people in it and they don't know shit.

I keep listening to this people talking about nominating Sarah Palin with all that they know about her they still would vote for this -----.

9. no
They will never "realize it". They are being sold on a "selfishness" doctrine. If their heros take whatever then can get and screw everybody else (including them) then so what? The "selfishness" is still intact. THAT is what they worship and identify with.

12. A Prediction:
They will continue to fuss, scream, and carry on until a Republican is elected.
Then they will be silent as the Republican President betrays everything they claim to stand for: balanced budgets, lowered deficit, etc.
Then, eventually, a Democrat will once again become President.
Then they will scream, fuss, and carry on again about balanced budgets, lowering the deficit, etc.
See: Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush (the greater), Bill Clinton, George Bush (the lesser), Barrack Obama...

It's the pattern they follow. They don't give a shit how much a R increases the deficit and breaks the budget, but let a D take office, and it suddenly matters. It's not about spending the money, or even what the money is spent on, it's about who's spending the money.
