So, will the House Republican leadership be resigning tomorrow?
Before the 2010 midterm election, the Republican party screamed that Obama had not created enough jobs (lost in the recession Republicans created, but American voters are famous for their short memories), and that if elected, they would make job creation their number one priority. SURPRISE! They didn't. The sad thing is what they DID see as their priorities (who said that the Taliban are only in Afghanistan and Pakistan?):

I especially like this one: "all citizens should be able to read and understand generally the English language text of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution"

The present Speaker, John Boehner, Republican of Ohio, stood in front of the Capitol last year, cameras rolling, with the House Republican Leadership nodding and chanting in unison behind him, reading from the Declaration of Independence, and claiming, in his ignorance, that it was from the Constitution!

By their own definition, the House Republican leadership is unfit to serve in the United States Congress, and, indeed, they do not meet their own standards for American citizenship. I will expect their resignations by the end of business tomorrow.

(I guess I had better not hold my breath, hey?)
