Fraud by English Defence League, 78 claimed to be injured on bus that only had 25 people on board
Edited on Sun Dec-26-10 02:44 PM by ck4829
Seventy-EIGHT English Defence League supporters are trying to claim for whiplash injuries in a coach crash... when only 25 of them were on board.

The claims were lodged after the coach carrying party members from Gateshead to a rally in Preston, Lancs, was involved in a minor collision.

Days later dozens of EDL supporters submitted a bid for compensation for whiplash injuries which they said were caused by the crash.

But the coach firm says only 25 people were on the bus - and the vehicle has just 57 seats. Maria Caris, spokesman for Caris Coaches in Gateshead, said she is now considering legal action amid fears her firm is being scammed by members of the extremist party, which claims to oppose the spread of militant Islam.

She said: "They must think we're idiots." (And added that if they really were injured then it probably came from them trying to fight the police)

Driver Christopher Cartwright said he'd be amazed if any of the 25 on board were hurt in the crash last month. He said: "There was not much more than a scratch on the back corner of the coach."

This is important because this group is being supported by our right wing crazies; including Michael Savage, Pamela Geller, and the tea parties.

2. If only they were
Combine hooliganism and xenophobia, and you've pretty much got the EDL.

3. Oh, they're Islamo-phobes.
The English Defence League (EDL) is a far-right political group<1><2><3><4><5>operating in the United Kingdom that was formed in 2009.<6><7> It opposes what it sees as the spread of Islamism, Sharia law and Islamic extremism in England.<8><9><10><11>. The EDL uses street-based marches against what it labels as Muslim extremism.<12><13> It presents itself as being multi-ethnic and multi-faith,<9> and states that it opposes only "jihadists", not all Muslims.<14>

Note, in English (as opposed to American English) defence is the noun and defense is the verb.

5. In metaphor.

She said: "They must think we're idiots. (And added that if they really were injured then it probably came from them trying to fight the police)

The actual claim to that metaphor, is that some people think the police are one group, the opposites of that group think the police are the opposite of their police.

If you believe in authoritarianism or ends justify means, then your police are based on your heart and opposite of the police of love and kindness with justice and dignity for all.

Gandhi's police are different then the colonial police. Was Gandhi hurt by police or criminals.

It requires an external point of reference based on universal truth, or a moral component as can be best determined by people.

Most discussions are your police and my police, but each group sees the other group the same way, when they actually do have many things in common when they also view things with an external third point of reference of what they would agree is better.

Side note, not worrying about heaven or hell, is in part to avoid thoughts of ends justify means if second and third defense was not in your choices and your first defense was a group thinking in what can be shown by 2nd and 3rd defense as not defensible.

If you believe in just obedience, then you claim that people are like soldiers that should follow orders, but a soldier is taught that way to be used for some bigger cause, and sometimes not the cause they believe in, hence why they are told they can't know. If things are so complex that people can not understand, then that power should be able to explain it in a way they can, or that is a claim of a limitation of that power. And many that believe in just obedience follow different things by the viewable different goals.

Saw on history channel a story of Job, note I see that story differently, specifically if Job could not understand, then either he is being used for a bigger reason he would not agree with, and I understand that, it is the reason heaven and hell as reward and punishment would be taught for those that do not do with a desire for better reason or better heart. Basically if you are a servant that will do wrong, then you can't be told that the reason you do is for better, or you wont do it because you are not better. So the answer to why it can not be explained is not that it can not be understood, but that some will not do better even if they know.

However if that is the case then a deception is in play, making that thought not come from pure truth. So pure truth must be about education of better ways, even if some results are not better ways. The only explanation for job being told he could not understand is either a limitation on the thing that could explain to him, or a desire for him not to know. By him having such wealth to start from, it is likely he was lacking or weak in 2nd and 3rd defense, and from that would not understand the purpose of those actions, as the telling of that story seems to not understand them. He can not understand by his lack of perfection in 2nd and 3rd defense, since if he was told some selfishness would inhibit his choice. And since all people lack perfection, knowledge becomes an inhibitor to action, but to reach that better thought of perfection education must exist, or people are expendable, so people learning until perfect is the only explanation for pure love and truth, including the prideful angels learning, in my view, the purpose job could not understand if told, since would he also be able to love his enemy, without 2nd and 3rd defense, as shown by his accumulation of wealth, probably not.

I think I understand why people can not 'understand' because there heart does not match the goal, and if they did understand they would have to learn to believe that goal better.
