AZ state lawmaker hospitalized following assault
AZ state lawmaker hospitalized following assault

A member of the Arizona Legislature was airlifted to a Phoenix hospital, after he was beaten and bound at his business in Casa Grande on Christmas Day.

Authorities say State Rep. Frank Pratt was assaulted and tied up and his SUV stolen during the attack, which occurred at approximately 4:00 PM. Casa Grande Police say he suffered multiple bruises and contusions and at least one fracture, and was last listed in stable condition.

At this point, investigators say there is no description of the suspect.

Pratt, a Republican, is State Representative for District 23. He also owns the Casa Grande Dive Shop, and Pratt Pools in Casa Grande.

5. About 50 miles south of Phoenix.
Close enough for nuclear fallout, but still far enough away.

6. I hate to see anyone the victim of violence. I hope he
makes a full recovery. Dem, Rep or otherwise, no one deserves to be beaten.

9. Depends on what the person did....
I can see certain circumstances where a person deserves to be beaten. Many circumstances, in fact. But I'm just being honest. Sorry.
