Scott Walker's administration has now offered a justification for giving Senator Randy Hopper's mistress a 35% raise at her new state job. WKOW in Madison reports: .....

....

So, the Scott Walker administration believes in giving a 35% raise to a state worker if she meets the following three criteria:

1. She has relevant professional experience.
2. She has a relevant college degree.
3. Her job duties have expanded.

The problem with this rationale is that every public school teacher in Wisconsin meets the same criteria .....

1. these reason is
she's a connected republican.

Look. They are basically like the communist party was in Russia. In communist Russia, you had a small group of people in the government running business and industry, they got special privileges, while the rest of the peons got to wait in line for what trickled down. For republicans, you have have a small group of people in business and industry running the government that get special privileges, while the rest of the peons get to wait in line for what trickles down.

4. Asked earlier, no answer. Is/Was Valerie Cass married?
The only reason I even thought to ask was I saw a quote in another thread where someone was quoted referring to her as "Mrs. Cass". Not a big deal, but might raise a few more interesting questions if she were.

5. thy learned from a master . . .
remember some of the bushco hires? if you want to show that government doesn't work, you certainly don't want to hire anyone with any experience but you need to pay them well so you can bankrupt said government and (almost) prove that the private sector does it cheaper.
