5. Sad. I can't wrap my head around the fact that she was 79 but Shatner is 80.

Shatner did not appear in my consciousness until I was about 12 or 13. I remember Liz as the first popular media personality in my brain.

My first memory of Shatner was in Twilight Zone but it turns out he was working steadily for 10 prior to that.

My mother loved her. Whenever the gossip mongers would attack Liz, mom would say: "They're just jealous because they've never been considered one of the most beautiful women in the world."
