That the elected RATpubliCON TeaFarty ilk doesn't care about polling numbers nor where a majority of their constituents stand on a given issue. They only need to represent "Corporate Interest" and their assigned duties as prescribed by their Corporate campaign donors.
So NO - we do not have a "Representative Governance"

Either they have captured the electoral process or they are determined to do their damage in one term. One or the other. There are voter suppression efforts under way so I suspect it is the former.
