It's Rice, Powers and Hillary that pushed for it. The military might actually realize they are over stretched.

7. This is true, he was interviewed about this a few weeks ago
and described how painful it would be, having to blow shit up in advance of the NFZ. It was clear he didn't want to do it.

9. which just goes to show
how ill thought out this whole bombing situation is; if the Generals aren't too sure who they are supposed to bomb, it's the fault of the idiot politicians who gave them a vague mandate.
