And U.S. companies selling doomsday bunkers are seeing sales skyrocket anywhere from 20% to 1,000%.

but I suspect most of the people buying these things are the very people who are least prepared (and perhaps least willing) to live a self-sufficient lifestyle. They simply do not have the knowledge or the skills to do so.

Is there a warranty on that 50-megaton-proof claim? I assume it has not been field-tested. Will there be a "slave" class included, free-of-charge? Somebody has to clean and cook ;)

I can't wait until somebody does publish the locations of the large shelters. They can't keep that secret for long. That will up the ante quite a bit if the guests with reservations even manage to make it to their underground crib in time.
