NYTs Mag retrospective ignores Elizabeth Edwards, Howard Zinn and Chalmers Johnson
No wonder these people lose audience every day. They did manage to remember Lucille Clifton. Hope they didn't sprain something. Some good pix, though, of the folks who did make their list.

As 2010 comes to a close, we bring you our annual idiosyncratic collage of stories about people who died over the last year. Some of them were quite famous. Some lived primarily private lives. And most lived, by choice or circumstance, in the realm of the little-bit-famous. Though these essays do mark deaths, we like to think of them as a collection of narratives that celebrate lives.
