5. Actually, if you look at the trees.

It looks as if they have removed some brushes and trees to the right, during the reconstruction. It hardly makes any sense that there would be an earthquake and then they would plant trees and brushes there and then take a picture.

7. Why would you doubt that Japan is making repairs to roads?
I'm sure there's rebuilding going on in many places there. Roads, especially, are important to rebuild right away, so that supplies can be transported.
