Last week, the common riff was that Obama had to be pulled along to favor a No Fly Zone by the Europeans, mainly the French and the Brits.

This week, we hear that the opposite was true. That Obama asserted leadership and pulled the Europeans along.


Last week it was just air cover to establish a No Fly Zone. Bomb a few hangers and runways, radars and control towers . . . . dust off the flying goggles, take off the white silk scarf, and call it a day.

Today we learn that we're now bombing and strafing ground forces.
