It seems like the Most Harm from the 2010 Elections is on the State Level
Just my observations, but it seems like the most harm from the midterm elections were teabaggers voting in Republican State governers and legislators.

With the assault on pensions, unions, women's reproductive rights and now creationism bills being proposed so that religion is taught in public schools, it seems that state level politicians are on a rampage. Yes, there are nutties in the House and the Senate, but these state level people have the ability to inflict the most harm in the quickest ways.

I can only hope there is a huge backlash against Republicans during the next election cycle because of this.

1. I think you're right.
Here in MN our state House and Senate went to the repukes. At least we got our first DFL gov in over 20 years.

2. It could really help us
A lot of people see the idiocy that these teabagging whackos bring with them.

It also may serve to once again wake up the assholes that harp on about the lack of "difference" between the parties.

3. I'm more concerned about state/local elections in 2012 than the national races
From governor all the way down to dog-catcher, THAT's where we need to direct our energy, IMO.

4. I'm still wondering how all these Thugs won so many midwest Governor seats
We are still using the easily and often hacked e-voting equipment, after all.

5. makes me grateful my state's state legislative races are this year

6. it is in definite disarray in the states

8. Sure seems to be the case
What's made it worse is that not only did they win governorships but captured the legislatures as well thus giving them the ability to ram everything through. :puke:

10. Congress really hasn't gotten started yet
If The dems cave on the cuts to Planned Parenthood, EPA, etc., and go on to cut social security then I think the damage will be worse. However, hopefully the fact that democrats have the final word/veto pen on the feds will mean something.

Naturally the Koch brothers are among the rich bloodsuckers funding it. Another one is Richard Mellon Schiafe, who is also a sponsor of the Chalcedon Foundation, a Christian Reconstructionist organization which (among other horrors) want to reinstitute their brand of "Old Testament law," to include slavery and the death penalty by stoning for adultery and homosexuality. Granted, that's not one of their immediate goals but it is an ultimate goal.

That helps to explain some of the draconian restrictions on abortion, and other theocratic items like the teaching of "creationism" in public schools, recently enacted or proposed in these teabagger states.
