"This is not a war..." Say what...?
Evidently, the polling data shows that the war on Libya has more public support when the public is told that it is "not war."

When I heard John Kerry portray it that way the other day, my first thought was that chia pet he has on his head must be growing into his brain. But now it is clear that they intend to promote this war as "not war."

So, let me get this straight. If someone launches a couple hundred cruise missiles into Massachusetts, Kerry will define that as an act of "not war?" I wonder if he would also feel that way if a couple of them landed inside his compound?

Well now, it appears that we must re-evaluate the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Could it be the intent was to establish a no-fly zone over Hawaii as a humanitarian act to protect the Hawaiian people?

They really view us as fools, don't they?

1. Didn't they say the Korean War wasn't a war, either?
I remember the term "police action."

At least we have no boots on the ground. Yet.

3. Indeed, and as far as I am aware,
there were no accounts of Japanese boots on the ground in Hawaii either.

2. we had a no fly zone in Iraq
I don't think we called it a war until we kicked the inspectors out and started bombing the hell out of the civilians and their infrastructure.

4. And subsequent polls revealed nationwide support to be @ 85%
Obviously, many Democrats also supported that irrational act of war.

And if anything, that process was far more consistent with what the Constitution requires than Obama's irrational and unauthorized attack on Libya.

The question is, will they still support this effort a year from now? Five years from now...?

Everybody likes back rubs.

7. And the difference between a champion of human rights and a homicidal maniac
is merely a difference of political opinion.
