Bachmann 2012? No decision yet, but leaning ...

So, in politics, at MSNBC.com..at 6:44 am Central time..on 3/25/11..
.the most important story in a section on politics

is about Michelle Bachmann leaning towards announcing that she is running for President....

So who editis this crap?
How can this be the most important story any day???
This idiot could not win dog catcher in a fair election.
the idiots at MSNBC. are nuts.. and are interested in pushing anyone that reflects right wing dogma..

MSNBC's night time TV line up has nothing to do with its web site.
.nothing at all................

1. Why get so worked up?
This is not right-wing propaganda. Even if you believe in a corporate conspiracy to promote the Republicans, Michele Bachmann isn't going to be their standard bearer. It's news because 1) its a Presidential campaign (however unlikely her chances), and 2) there are so few announced candidate, that anyone openly saying they're ready to run is newsworthy.

First Thoughts: Welcome back, Mr. President

US role in Libya costs hundreds of millions so far

Gingrich reverses stand on Libya

New milestone: 1 in 6 US residents is Hispanic

US diplomat in Mexico is 1st casualty of WikiLeaks

School cuts raise doubts among some GOP voters

Ex-aide to Sen. Ensign indicted in lobbying case

Thousands protest Ga. anti-immigration bills

Health care — one year later

Perhaps the story about Health Care, at the bottom is most important.
Or, the story about Hispanics being one sixth of the residents.
Or, school cuts. I guess seeing Bachmann's name at the top, offends me.
And I don't think it is the most important story at this time..

5. it is important because it would mean that any idiot can now run for president
it is a microcosm of just how far this country has declined

6. You have given them your eyeballs.
They sell advertising for a profit. The best thing you can do when it comes to that kind of corporate crap media, is to not give them your eyeballs. If you complain about it, particularly out loud on the internet, they get more hits, more eyeballs and more advertising revenue. You've played into the game!

7. Like Palin's, Bachmann's story is pure entertainment.
You are right, there is no important political "news" in anything that the unhinged Bachmann says or does. She will never be president. The problem is that she is SO crazy and out of it that people will tune in to hear what idiotic thing she has said or done now, not because it's important (it's not) but because it is entertaining, and that's apparently the only thing that keeps people tuned in to a news station through a 10-minute commercial break.

8. Heard yesterday on MSNBC she raised 13 million
during her last campaign and none of it was PAC money. According to the talking head, she's a money magnet.

With enough money anybody can win :(

9.  Teryl Clark her opponent raised over 5 million..
Edited on Fri Mar-25-11 07:46 AM by Stuart G
I followed that campaign, and money was coming in to Bachmann from all the usual sources. It looked close at one point, but there was an independent who got more than 5 percent of the vote, and Clark didn't have a chance...She was out spent 2 to 1..in a very tough district..

My guess is that the so called independent's campaign was also completely financed by the right wing...Set up a straw dog, to get some votes, and insure Bachmann would win...perhaps you are correct, ...

With enough money, anybody can win. :(

and the Pukes are laughing at us for it..

10. Trump is the clown I'm really worried about!
Michelle Bachman is going to go down the poop chute just like her spiritual mentor Bob Dornan did. She won't go past New Hampshire. But it's fucking Trump that is really scaring me right now!
