So, WHERE is New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie? On the Appalachia Trail? :)
State Senate President Steve Sweeney, who is filling in as Acting Governor while Gov. Chris Christie is out of state, has issued a state of emergency for the entire state due to blizzard conditions this evening.

1. Cute - apparently he didn't leave until today -
Santa left presents under the tree this morning for two New Jersey politicians — the Christie family is headed to Disney World and a Democrat gets to be governor for a few days.

Gov. Chris Christie, along with his wife Mary Pat and their children Andrew, Sarah, Patrick and Bridget, will be headed to the Florida theme park on Sunday and will return on Thursday. While he's away, Christie gives control over of the state over to the acting governor.

Rather irresponsible, I'd say.

kicking Christie out as Governor and order Christie banned from the state of New Jersey, and all assets belonging to the Christie family seized until he pays 1 billion dollars, thanks to the loss of the high speed rail project and the education funds. He can suck up to one of his corporate fatcats for it, right? He should order the NJ Attorney General to finalize a warrant for Christie's arrest upon return to NJ.

12. I hope Christie disappears permanently
somewhere in Orlando. He can move there and live and suck up on Scott.

7. Too late I saw your original comment ;)
Btw, there's nothing wrong with family vacations, but surely he must have known the blizzard was on its way before he left NJ, so it was a bit irresponsible for him to up and leave his state in a mess.

18. sounds like the same arguments that the republicans used against Obama
in regards to the BP spill

what could Christie do other than sit around and get snowed in with the rest of them

it's not like he's up there driving a snow plow

I'm sure he's in constant contact, just like Obama was, with the emergency people

11. Apparently she is 'out of the state' also
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey’s acting governor has declared a state of emergency in the wake of the powerful winter storm that roared into the state on Sunday.

State Senate President Steve Sweeney, who is filling in while Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno are out of state, issued the order Sunday night.

21. he's at Disney World
Sweeney should sign the women's health and anti-bullying legislation into law but probably won't because he lacks a spine.
