UNCUT: GE paid ZERO US taxes for 2010
General Electric, the nation’s largest corporation, had a very good year in 2010.
The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.
Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.

ZERO NOTHING NADA

Meanwhile we are taking benefits from teachers, cutting services to the bone, and having our Party leaders openly discuss cutting social security and medicare.

1. I have an idea for liberal business owners that deal with receipts...
Next to or underneath the sales total on your receipts...have "MORE THAN G.E. PAID IN TAXES" printed. Would also work well for EXXON MOBIL and other loophole-using cretins.

8. We could start writing it in the "notes" section on our personal checks too.
Or other terms of payments. Maybe if people started seeing it, they'd start getting riled up about it. Let's face it, when I talk about the news and current events to people, most of them have no idea what I'm talking about. It's really sad and a detriment to the people of this whole planet.

3. Many corporations have been paying zero taxes for decades.
Unless we get a Congress who has the balls to change the tax code, this will continue to happen. With a Teabagger House and blue dog Democrats, that is not likely to happen soon.

However, starting next month, corporate tax rates will go up and become the highest in the world. The problem is closing the loppholes, which Republicans and said Blue Dogs refuse to do.
