Palin support continues to drop
Another poll shows Palin's support dropping
By: CNN Political Producer Alexander Mooney

(CNN) – Sarah Palin's support among likely Republican primary voters is fading according to a newly-released Gallup poll, the second national survey this week to indicate the Alaska Republican is headed in the wrong direction as the 2012 primary race gears up.

According to the Gallup survey, which was released Friday, Palin draws 12 percent of support from Republicans and Republican-leaning independents - a 4 percent decline from a similar Gallup survey conducted one month ago. Those results are similar to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released earlier this week showing Palin had fallen 7 points between January and March, from 19 percent to 12 percent.

Recent surveys from Pew and NBC News also indicate the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee's current support hovers around the low double digits – a definitive drop from her showings in similar polls earlier this year.

2. Palin has long been failin'.
She's just window dressing while other GOP creeps creep up on the primaries.

4. I don't know if this is good news or bad news
Good news because because I hate her. Or bad news because this means there's less of a chance she'll be the GOP nominee. If she was the GOP nominee, that would mean sure defeat for them in the general election.

5. Damn, down to 12. At that rate she may not run in 2012
and that would be a darn shame.

10. Haven't seen much interest in anything Palin lately on the news; but Bachman is now dominating
I saw like the 10th story on Michelle Bachman, before I realized that the lamestream had gone rather silent on Palin, like she was yesterday's old fish wrap.

I am betting that it hasn't yet sunk into to Palin's brain that she won't need to keep bitching about the liberal bias against her now because she is no longer the story. Bachman won't get anywhere, but it does appear that she has been chosen as the official replacement idiot for Caribou Barbie's old position.

11. Palin's not going to run. Her minions have been signally that "Presidency would be a step down"
I think there is a good chance Huckabee will get the nomination if he runs.

He would win Iowa caucus for sure,

As far as the overall nomination:

- He seems sane (even though he is a crazy theocrat)
- He is witty and charming with the press (unlike Romney)
- He was a Southern governor

Media will be quite happy to hide his crazyness.
