How To Dance With The Global Strangeness of "The Grand Irrationality!"
Edited on Fri Mar-25-11 08:44 PM by KoKo

by Robert Wilkinson

Today we explore some tools we can use to deal with the general weirdness of what I have termed "the Grand Irrationality." So how can we find a deeper understanding of how to move through these times without losing our equilibrium, and still achieve maximum productivity, during the long, strange trip it's been, and will continue to be, for years to come?

This grew out of a conversation with a friend a while ago, and it's more relevant today than ever. If you're wondering why things are so weird right now, and there are many people and situations that don't make a lot of sense, well, it's been that way for a while, and will be for some time to come.

This constant strangeness, pressure, and edginess have led countless people to re-evaluate which relationships and old life trajectories are really working. Some of it stemmed from irrational or compulsive behavior on the part of others during the past 3 years, while in other cases it became clear we needed a new life direction and experience. The global challenge for all of us has been (and still is!) to learn how to function effectively within the great weirdness without losing our balance and perspective.

As long time readers know, I believe we can chalk a lot of the global strangeness and irrationality to the Grand Irrationality, a septile-driven configuration that gets triggered frequently by the transits, throwing individuals and nations into "forks in the road of destiny." At these turning points in the lives of nations and people, our choices very much matter, since by the decisions we make we create our future "destiny."

More http://www.aquariuspapers.com/astrology/2011/03/how-to-dance-with-the-global-strangeness-of-the-grand-irrationality.html and a Good Read ..comforting...in these times of stress we are all living through.

Peace! This article gave me a sense of "grounding" as to how to deal and to connect things in my own life to move forward with more confidence. So many of us are feeling down...feel adrift without an anchor or at sea without a life raft to drift and drift as the waves crash over us and we don't know whether we will wash up on shore to live another life or plunge under the waves to death.

Anyway.....these are trying times. I found this a comfort , and that's why I pass it along to all DU'ers to read or not read. It's your choice.

Hey...it's Friday Night...time for some "REFLECTION."

Respectfully,

koko

2. As I said...I found it a very comforting read...and food for thought...in these times..
Thanks for replying. I was hesitant to post it figuring folks would think it was a ((((woo, woo post)))...but I didn't find it that way and hoped others wouldn't either.

3. People who call woo-woo on others may have a rude awakening coming. No one knows it all.

6. Same to you. Our heart will tell us what to do.
I mean that on a deeper level than I would talk about here. I've been interested in these things for a few years now. Not all will solved by politics or any other conventional study, not all fits into one form of teaching or another, although this place brings us so much of a chance to grow.

7. Giving a Kick to this...for the weekend crowd on DU..."The Stressed Ones"
who are like me wondering where we've been and wondering why we haven't yet made a difference. Rather than loading up on Wine & Weed...I'd like to have another comfort.

I really did think that many DU'ers like me would find this article a "comfort." And I will never DISS a COMFORT, guys and gals...my fellow friends on DU.

and as a former Church Goer...Sunday Night is a good time for us "UnChurched" to think about things spirtually.

You atheists and agnostics know where you are coming from...but, even you all might find some "hope" in this...verification that you aren't crazy with what's going on.

Whatever...I liked the read and thought other's here might find it helpful.
