Elizabeth Taylor gives money to charity
I got this in an email:
Most of Elizabeth Taylor's massive fortune will go to the two AIDS charities with whom she was most famously associated.
Screen queen Elizabeth Taylor has left behind a fortune worth at least $600 million, much of which is expected to go to the AIDS charities she championed for decades. Her famous jewelry collection, valued at an eye-popping $150 million in 2002, is likely to be auctioned off with the bulk of the proceeds going to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and amfAR, the AIDS charity she helped found in 1985, according to WFLD/Fox TV Chicago. "From what I understand, she seems to have been very wise about her investments," said a financial planner who has worked with other Hollywood A-listers. At the time of her 1994 divorce from her last husband, Larry Fortensky, Taylor's net worth was estimated at $608.4 million. That figure could now be well in excess of $1 billion. During the 1990s, Taylor reportedly earned about $2 per second, or about $63 million per year. Her famed perfume, White Diamonds, earned more than $70 million last year, according to reports.

3. It just says 'most' goes to charity, I'm sure not all, and looks like she had a lot.
And just how much surprised me.

4. The will might to be read next week.
SNIP

The Mail also reports that Taylor's children were "at odds" over the estate. The actress' four children, Michael and Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd and Maria Burton believe they will receive their mother's fortune when the will is read, possibly next week.

==========

So, I guess the world might know next week or sometime in the future.
Probably will be lots of rumors between now and then.

p.s. At the time of her death she was survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

10. Most savvy multi-millionaires and billionaires give
away the bulk of their estates to their heirs before they die in the form of trusts. Her children have probably already been taken care of.

7. Reports are the Koch Brothers are also leaving their wealth to charity....
...the US will have the most lavish symphony hall in the Universe, and the Koch Pollution Society will be endowed with billions to ensure no laws are ever passed that might protect the environment.

11. K&R- Her AIDS organization gave more to that cause than she earned
in her carreer. She was a great lady, and the right hates her...I hear her funeral will be attended by those asshole "religions" people that disrupt funerals for publicity...

12. Wow didn't know she had that large a fortune
Thats very noble to give much of it to charity. Elizabeth Taylor obviously was a special woman, and not just a "movie star".
