Maybe there's something to be said for losing a war
I've been thinking lately about how well Germany and Japan have been doing in the past few decades, and I wonder how much of that is a direct result of having lost WWII. Clearly it's devastating to the generation that is in charge when it happens, but the next couple of generations seem to really get their shit together.

Perhaps this is what it would take to fix this country? We would suffer but perhaps then our grandchildren would have a real chance.

Storyline

Wandering about to find someone to surrender to, they discover a scientist with a special ultimate weapon that can destroy the Earth. When they capture him and his bomb they are faced with a new possibility: What do you do when you win a war?
