Two Weeks Ago Today. We Were In Madison
No matter how black things seemed, people were out there making a difference. They are not giving up, they are not sitting down and refusing to participate anymore.. They are engaged and refusing to be moved to the side.

It is easy to be in the Parade when the sun is shining.. It is tough when the storm clouds roll in.

1. Yes. Stormy inside and out.
I was thinking, too, about that day 2 weeks ago. Thanks for your message.

3. That's about as cold as I can remember being.
We slipped into Frida's at about 1:30 and had some shots of tequila and the rest of the afternoon was a bit more pleasant. We were there from 9 a.m. until about 5:30. We didn't want to leave, despite the cold. It was a very special day in my life.

5. Yes, very special for us too
We took our nephew - age 16 , who said this is the best thing that has ever happened to him. He is awakened, enlightened, and cannot learn enough fast enough... We were also SO cold. Chilled all the way through the coats by evening. My husband and I both caught the "Capitol Crud" virus going around, that day. Finally feel back to normal. Worth is though. I'll never forget it either.

6. I was there also for the big event-over 100,000-flowing into State
street. I cheered the returning Dem14 back to Wisconsin. It was lovely.

LOts has happened since but I am not depressed --yet.

Hope fully I will be out collecting some recall sigs for
Repugs next weekend.

9. I was on the Square again today
..and probably will be every Saturday for awhile. Madison's cooperative community turned out for labor today, along with a slew of Latino groups and others. Not 100,000 people, but had some speeches, a march, and we took over the street for awhile (and were a bit outside our permit there...lol. Sorry, Officers!).

Once the Farmer's Market starts up, I'll be able to bring home fresh vegetables from the protests!
