QUICK EVERYONE! Look at how good the republicans trickle down theory works!

JEEZ, Look at how much just the TOP 5% own, almost 70% of ALL of the Nations wealth! 5% OWNS 70%! Almost 3/4THS!

Looks like it only trickles up! Maybe the pipe is clogged, its not trickling down, someone grab a plunger!

The culmination of 30 yrs under the "great republican economic theory".

Look at where its led us....Which side of the pie are you on?!

A) Whatever we're doing ISN'T working B) We need to reform the tax code C) Make sure republiCons are never elected or in charge of our Nations finances again.

Is capitalism REALLY the best economic theory humans can come up with? Seems to enslave far MORE than it sets FREE.

Edit: You know, there used to be a time when we actually paid for wars through progressive taxation, heck, it was even patriotic to buy things called war bonds. Now we under fund wars and balance budgets on the backs of the middle class and poor who already sacrifice.
What have the top 5% sacrificed?!

5. The problem isn't that our state, local and federal governments are broke...
...the problem is that the money is concentrated in the constipated.

6. Trickle down economics is a failed economic theory.
The super rich must realize that societies where a privileged group hoards resources usually ends with the blood of the privileged being shed. The USA is not at that point yet, but if the hoarding continues by too many super rich, the USA will get to the point of dissolution, abet much slower than if the USA was a so-called marxist country.

9. When people realize that their children are dying because of the
greed of the top 1%, that's when I think blood will be shed. And when I say "dying", I mean from lack of clean water, nutritious food, no educational opportunities, no healthcare.

7. It seems that no matter how often trickle on, I mean trickle down,
economics is debunked, it raises it's ugly head over and over again.

No matter if you call it laissez-faire economics, trickle down economics, "free" trade, neoliberal economics, libertarianism or feudalism, the end result is always the same. It makes the rich richer and everyone else poorer. If pumping our wealth into the already wealthy leads to a robust economy, then under kings and queens we must have had the best economic situation in the history of humankind.

Why do societies buy into it so often?

8. Or maybe it's the result of rampant consumerism where some are compelled to spend whatever they have
Using ones house as a piggy bank won't get you out of the bottom category. Neither will fine dining every night. I've known a whole lot of crazy spending people. When I find out how much they make vs how much they have I feel ill for them wondering why they have so little to show for what they've made.
