I mean if he's so anti-government why is he even bothering with the federal courts to stop this election. And this is no 'Franklin v. Coleman'. That race was decided by hundreds by a few hundred votes. Murkowski is head by over 10k votes with the regular count and 2.5k votes when you eliminate any ballot challenged by Miller. So at this point, Miller would rather be an asshole and let Alaska go without a senator then to recognize that he does not have a win. And for someone who aligns himself with a party that is against the federal goverment, doesn't that make him a hypocrite. And seriously, shave that damn razor stubble too, Miami Vice was only hip back in the 80s. Even in the movie remake Farrell & Foxx were clean shaven.

Alaska Senate hopeful turns to court to stop Murkowski

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Senate hopeful Joe Miller has dropped his bid to stop write-in candidate Lisa Murkowski from being certified the winner of Alaska's November 2 election but will challenge the results in federal court.

Backed by the conservative Tea Party movement, Miller beat Murkowski in the Republican primary last summer but was edged out in the general election when the incumbent senator ran as a write-in candidate.

Unofficial results showed Murkowski won by more than 10,000 votes, or some 4.5 percent of the total, making hers the first successful write-in campaign waged for a Senate seat since 1954.

"This decision will allow Alaskans to focus on bringing fairness and transparency to our elections process without distraction of the certification issue," Miller said in a statement posted on his website late on Sunday.

Miller has argued that thousands of votes for Murkowski should be tossed out because of misspellings of her name and other flaws, and added that he planned to file a motion in federal court to back his challenge of the results.

1. They are the same folks who scream tort reform until it is them hurt by a doctor
then they lead the charge to get a lawyer to sue the doctor for millions. All they are about is stopping someone else from taking advantage of everything they take advantage of.

2. In their minds this isn't 'frivolous law suites' because it's them doing it
Everyone who knows people like this knows that when it happens to them "it's different".
