Anyone else watching that CNN special about the Murfreesboro Mosque?
Not even 10 minutes in and I'm on the verge of throwing things at my TV.

3. CNN and Wolf Blitzer are busy throwing things at America
while promoting their own special game plan. But what do I know?

I'm just a typical American with out a voice that is considered a yellow breasted lap sucker by CNN and the politicians that control us.

16. Someone...
Has to get a screen shot of that outfit! My computer is too old, and I'm on dial-up, so I can't do it.

I despise painting people with a broad brush, after all, I now live in Idaho, but these people are caricatures!

5. What I have seen looked like a good report unlike Faux they
are showing both sides of the issue. I think the anti-Mosque people come across as narrow minded bigots.

8. No I turned it off, such blatent stupidity
is more than I can endure for an hour. I know it's out there I just don't care to see it displayed in all it's ugliness. The problem with shows like that is people that don't need to see it do and those that should don't.

9. I don't bother watching cable news any more.

It's either a choice between Fascist News Channel, Communist News Network, or Microsith NBC. I'd rather have actual news reporting instead of "fair and balanced" propaganda.

12. I'll be watching it
later this evening. The commercials reminded me of the acrimony in the town of Sidney, NY, when the supervisor and two board members attempted to force the removal of Islamic graves within the town. I had posted a few times last fall about my involvement in that case. It started out ugly, and un-American. When good people spoke up, the Tea Party jack asses backed down.

14. Thanks for that link.
I'll send it to some of my friends in Sidney. After their town supervisor was declared the "worst person in the world" on Countdown last fall, they've assumed he could defend his title for a few years, then retire. Obviously, there are serious challengers across the country!

Ignorance and bigotry seems to be on steroids lately.

15. there is no legal reason this mosque has not been built yet.
here is a current article....march 9, 2011

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The controversial Murfreesboro mosque hearing went before a judge Wednesday as plaintiffs tried to get access to 31,000 emails sent between three Rutherford County officials.

The plaintiff's attorney, Joe Brandon, believes those emails contain proof that Rutherford County officials secretly passed the mosque building permit without the public's knowledge, but a judge ruled that requesting more than 30,000 emails is simply too broad.

"The question that continues to come up is: what is the government trying to hide in this case?" Brandon asked the Chancellor Robert Corlew III.

It's that assumption that led attorney Joe Brandon to request all correspondence between three Rutherford County officials including the county mayor, planning director and assistant planning director.....
