We are witnessing a modern Merlin at work.

Targets are destroyed – but no people die.

Armored vehicles, troop carriers and military equipment litter the roads “as far as the eye see” – but bodies of the soldiers are invisible.

As the rebels drive to capture town after town on the road to Tripoli, Gaddafi forces have been “descimated” ahead of their advance. But no body count, no real people were harmed. As they enter these cities not civilians are harmed.

It’s just a matter of turning the power on and getting the OIL to FLOW.

The same thing happened when the rebels first launched a failed drive to Tripoli – no reports of people killed by the rebels, just cities “taken.”

Of course there were rumors of the rebels terrorizing, raping, and killing civilians, BUT these were obviously false and malicious rumors. Our side does not do those things.

In fact, those things just don’t happen. This is a not like the evil Republican wars of Iraq or Afghanistan.

This is a MAGIC WAR.

I got into a mild flame war last week with someone when I stated, "all governments lie".

Then the other poster took me to task because I am against all war regardless of who starts it.

I just couldn't believe my eyes, when this same tool questioned my reasons for pacifism.

5. Who claimed that no people die in destroyed tanks, armored personnel carriers and the like?

Unless those vehicles were abandoned before they were attacked (when planes were spotted overhead?), there most certainly would be deaths in those military vehicles.

I think it's reasonable to assume that it is more likely that military combatants were killed in those vehicles than would have been the case if those tanks, planes and armored personnel carriers had reached and attacked Benghazi.

But there is a report on every "Rebel" killed or wounded -- of course, by anonymous but highly reliable sources, that cannot be confirmed.
