Some people simply have been brainwashed, and it is evidenced on this post. Ps. 140:12. I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor.

Finally, our country, the last one in the developed WORLD has come up with a plan to help ensure the working poor. And people are against this? Why? Because they hold onto some delusional fantasy that they may be one of the lucky 400 people who own more than 165 million Americans combined?

Ask yourself this: when was the last time the Republican Party every did anything, EVER, to help the poor. And this so-called Christian party has done nothing but take advantage of the poor and help further corporate greed through tax cuts and loopholes. WHEN HAS THE REBUBLICAN PARTY EVER DONE ANYTHING TO HELP YOU!

Luke 6:20-21. Blessed are you who are poor, for yours in the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

2. republicans have given quite a lot to the poor

false hope, false faith, hatred, freedom from doctors, freedom from collective bargaining, and in far too many cases, prison sentences.
