Highlights from the Senate's Protect Social Security Event

Senator Reid, Sanders, Blumenthal, Harkin and Franken just spoke at a very inspiring rally in D.C. at the Senate Dirksen Office Building against cutting Social Security.

What was one of the highlights? The part where Sen. Tom Harkin led the audience in a "raise the cap!" "raise the cap!" cheer. It was awesome. Besides the Senators speeches, which were all hilarious and heartfelt, we heard from a nurse, a senior who relies on Social Security, a mother of a disabled woman and a small business owner. The room was packed, more than 300 attendees including some major media.
