28. There are two points here... |

1) There is no such thing as selective "humanitarianism". That is like jumbo shrimp and military intelligence. To sit idly by while millions die (to this day) and then to cry giant public tears over less than a thousand... that makes clear that it is who is dying that is at issue, if there is any real issue at all. To further claim that this is about a "potential" massacre, while ignoring real ones... that raises the discussion to a whole new level of cynicism.
2) The biggest murderer of Arab civilians is the USA. Over the past decade, that has amounted to from 100,000 to nearly 1 million dead in Iraq alone, depending on the analysis. To claim that the US is now "protecting civilians", before the bodies in Iraq are even cold, based on the theory that "that wasn't me; that was the last guy"... that is a level monstrous arrogance and delusion which has rarely been seen.
