7. The speech was exceptional. It clearly defined what we are as people.

I am one on DU that believes in american exceptionalism, not the kind of Palin, but the kind that has us nobly lifting up people that yearn for freedom to choose their leaders. We have tarnished ourselves when we have failed to stand up to tyranny. President Obama is not stumbling into conflicts while fooling the american public and Congress with lies. And President Obama understands the limits of military power and the importance of diplomacy.
