Should NBC be given a pass on putting that crap of a show that Trump hosts
when, for all intents and purpose, they are giving free advertisement for a presidential candidate...

Even if that doesn't fly, perhaps a boycott of the sponsors of this show as he runs around the country spouting his birther crap.

Why does he get a pass?

Why does NBC get a pass?

2. A lot of people watch that crap
I personally find it embarrassing to share a country with people so easily amused, but unless ratings talk the advertisers walk, and Trump knows it.

I don't believe for a second Trump is really concerned with running anymore than the Pat Paulson campaign back in the '70s. My first clue was when he said he'd put up his own money. He's smarter than that, and he's not known for betting the farm on a dark horse.

He's using this faux platform to draw interest in his show. He gets free TV time, and uses it to perpetuate what he knows are asinine comments that lead to more free self promotion.

In the end, it'll all come back to the biggest season ever for "You're fired", or whatever that terribly stupid distraction is called.

4. a boycott is certainly in order
Donald Trump has crossed the line, and he has crossed a line like he has never done before. He has now decided to hitch his wagon to the crazy birther movement.

I don't know why you would expect anything more from NBC (now owned by Comcast!). Perhaps because they own MSNBC, sometimes we think they are a "progressive" corporation? They are really no different from Fox News and News Corporation, they have found a niche on cable and are directing their programming (on weekdays only, after their conservative morning program) to progressive minded people. They are not doing it because they believe in the cause, they are doing it because they make money at it.

Anyone who appears on Donald Trump's program is now on my shit list, and so is anyone who watches that idiotic program.

It is really time for Progressives to stand up and make an example of this moron Donald Trump. We need to go after him with everything we got. I think this would be an excellent opportunity for an organization like MoveOn to get their act back together.

We were successful in getting Lou Dobbs off the air after he hitched his wagon to the birthers, and now we need to go after Trump. If we miss or waste this opportunity, what is wrong with us? He must be exposed, silenced, and sent to wherever Lou Dobbs went.

11. The problem with raising a ruckus about Trump and his show and running
is that Fox has been allowed to keep a stable of candidates and no ruckus has been raised.
